Li Qiang and Dr. Yunus Exchange Greetings

Chinese Premier Li Qiang and the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh’s interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, exchanged greetings on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bangladesh.

In his congratulatory message, Premier Li Qiang stated that China attaches great importance to the development of its relations with Bangladesh. He emphasized that, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties, China is willing to accelerate cooperation with Bangladesh in various fields, including the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and to further advance the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries.

In his message, Dr. Muhammad Yunus said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and China 50 years ago, the friendship between the two peoples has grown stronger, bilateral relations have developed steadily, and cooperation between the two countries has yielded fruitful results. He affirmed that the interim government of Bangladesh is committed to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Bangladesh and China.
