CMG Concert in New York Spreads Message of Peace, Respect, and Unity

New York, Sept. 26 – A film concert titled “United as One World, Voices for Peace” was staged at Lincoln Center for the Arts in New York, organized by China Media Group (CMG). The event carried a strong message of peace, mutual respect, and cultural harmony.

In a video message, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming extended her best wishes for the program’s success. She highlighted the universal power of music, noting its ability to soothe the soul, transcend differences in language and culture, and bring people together.

Shen Haixiong, President of CMG, remarked that music and imagery are the shared languages of humanity. As a responsible, world-class media organization, CMG has been broadcasting the “Entering the United Nations” program on the UN TV station, reflecting the practice of President Xi Jinping’s four major global initiatives. Shen emphasized that CMG spreads peace through music, pays tribute to those who strive for victory through melody, fosters unity through art, and promotes mutual understanding among civilizations through dialogue.

So far, the event has been covered by 1,317 major media outlets across 58 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia. International platforms such as the Associated Press, NBC, FX Networks, and Yahoo Finance have all reported on the concert.
