UNICEF: 28 Children Dying Daily in Gaza Amid Escalating Crisis

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has expressed grave concern over the ongoing violence against children in the besieged Gaza Strip. According to the agency, an average of 28 children are being killed every single day — the equivalent of an entire classroom.

In a statement, UNICEF urgently called for an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing the critical need to end the suffering of Gaza’s children.

“Children in Gaza need food, water, medicine, and safety,” the agency stated. “But more than anything, they need a ceasefire — now.”

The situation on the ground has become so dire that even the search for food has turned into a life-threatening act. In desperate efforts to secure basic necessities, many Palestinian families are risking their lives. Some who went out in search of food from aid distribution centers never returned. Their families continue to wait, clinging to hope that fades with each passing day.
