Training Jet Crashes in Morocco, Killing Two Pilots

A Moroccan Air Force training jet has crashed in the North African country, resulting in the deaths of both pilots on board. The victims were military officers.

The incident occurred on Tuesday near Fès–Saïs Airport in northern Morocco.

According to a statement released by the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco, the aircraft involved was an Alpha Jet trainer used for training junior air force officers. The two pilots were conducting a routine training mission.

The flight reportedly encountered no issues during takeoff. However, the aircraft crashed just before touching down on the runway, leading to the immediate deaths of both the pilot and co-pilot at the scene.
