Fundamental Change is the Main Goal of the Government, Not Showmanship

Supradip Chakma, the Advisor to the Chittagong Hill Tracts, recently highlighted the government’s focus on achieving “fundamental change” as the primary goal, rather than prioritizing showmanship. Speaking as the chief guest at the 58th anniversary celebration of the Buddhist Juba Parishad, Mr. Supradip Chakma emphasized that real transformation is already taking place. He called for collective efforts to improve the nation and expressed hope for the community’s cooperation in presenting Bangladesh as a symbol of equality and unity on the global stage.

During the event, Chakma also distributed prizes and certificates to winners of the children’s literature and cultural competition. The event, which took place at the Chittagong Hill Tracts complex in the capital, was chaired by Dr. Chinmoy Barua Rintu, President of WAB and chairman of the Buddhist Youth Council’s National Committee. Other speakers included Pornchai Palodhamma, Subrata Barua, Harishankar Jaldas, Dr. MK Sarkar, and Dr. Suman Barua.
