Hong Kong—On October 6, 2024, the Free Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccination Campaign was successfully launched. It was organized by the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) YTM Branch in collaboration with the China Bangladesh Friendship Center (CBFC), Asian Club Limited, Hong Kong Nepalese Federation, Yau Ma Tei South Care Team, and Asian Daily Needs. The event was made possible through the invaluable medical support of the Hong Kong Primary Care Development Committee (HKPCDC).
The ceremony commenced with an inspiring recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China. This marked a significant occasion as it coincided with the 75th anniversary of the country’s founding.
MC Tazim welcomed esteemed guests, community members, and health advocates, emphasizing the importance of public health and unity. The event highlighted the collaborative efforts between various organizations dedicated to supporting the citizens of Hong Kong, mainly ethnic minorities.

Mr. Chowdhury Mehmudur Rehman, Honorary Chairperson of the China-Bangladesh Friendship Center, presided over the ceremony. Dr. Fakhrul Islam Babu delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks on behalf of the organizing team, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters.
