China Marks New Milestone in Humanoid Robotics Innovation

China on Saturday officially launched the Pilot Public Service Platform under the National and Local Co-built Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, marking a significant step forward in the country’s efforts to advance humanoid robotics innovation.

Located in Zhangjiang Robot Valley in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, the state-of-the-art platform integrates research and development, pilot manufacturing, precision assembly, comprehensive testing, warehousing and product delivery into a fully closed-loop innovation and production system.

Designed to accelerate the commercialization of next-generation humanoid robots, the platform provides end-to-end support for product development, engineering validation and manufacturing.

The facility has an annual production capacity of 2,000 complete humanoid robots and 2,000 sets of core precision components, strengthening China’s industrial capabilities in the rapidly evolving robotics sector.
