HONG KONG, March 31, 2026 — The International Islamic Society (IIS) has formally declared a three-member Convening Committee following a Special Meeting held on March 30, 2026, at FOG Restaurant, Antipasto Express, 67 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
The committee was formed through a unanimous resolution adopted by members present at the meeting. According to the resolution, the Convening Committee takes effect from March 31, 2026, as an interim body of the Society.
The committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of regularizing the affairs of the Society and taking the necessary steps to arrange an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the formation of a formal Executive Committee.
