Iran Launches Fresh Strikes on Israeli and U.S. Targets Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for a new wave of missile strikes targeting Israeli and U.S. assets as part of its ongoing military campaign dubbed Operation True Promise 4, amid escalating tensions across the Middle East.

In a statement, the IRGC said the attacks were carried out during the 57th phase of the operation using advanced military technology. The strikes reportedly targeted Israel’s military command, control and communication infrastructure, as well as elements of its missile defense systems.

According to the IRGC, several types of long-range missiles were used in the operation, including the Kheibar Shekan, Emad and Qadr missiles, which Iran says are capable of delivering highly precise strikes against distant targets.

The Iranian force also claimed to have targeted the United States’ key military installation at Al Udeid Air Base in the Persian Gulf region. The statement said the attack involved Zolfaghar and Qiam missiles along with smart suicide drones.

Regional tensions have intensified since February 28, when Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior military officials were reportedly killed in strikes blamed on the United States and Israel. Tehran has said its recent military operations are in retaliation for attacks on its civilian areas and strategic facilities.

There has been no immediate response from either the United States or Israel regarding the claims.
