Proximity, heat and dementia

Proximity, heat and dementia.
– Faruque Sayed,Silkeborg,Denmark.

You crawl right into my arms.
You wait till I hold you tight.
You want to give heat from your body,
Instead in close proximity
you take my love story!

I try to give you
the velvet tide for your dreams,
That stirs you up
like an angry sea of undulating blue!
You look up at the sky like a thirsty peahen,
While I spread the color of my tireless fan.

I look deep down in your heart.
And find there isn’t a way out and bail.
It is the routine that matters now!
It is not the feeling
in my touch that calm you and hale!

I feel the distance unbearable and sickening.
Even when you rest silently in my arms.
It is the routine that matters now!
It’s not the healing
from the long deserved caress.

I feel the hydra headed dementia.
The dementia –
that absorbs us both in melancholy.
You thank me all the time for nothing
and cry in darkness.

We let the dementia live
While I silently die!
